📝 Scheme & Exam Pattern
- Part A (Common Aptitude): 20 Questions (Attempt 15) – General reasoning, analytical & numerical ability (30 Marks).
- Part B (Subject MCQs): Conventional multiple-choice questions covering core syllabus.
- Part C (Analytical Questions): Higher-order scientific concepts & problem-solving questions.
- Negative Marking: 25% negative marking for incorrect answers in most parts.
- Cut-off Benchmark: Minimum 33% for General/EWS/OBC and 25% for SC/ST/PwD categories.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit
- M.Sc / Equivalent Degree: Min 55% Marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/Third Gender).
- 4-Year Bachelor’s Degree: Min 75% Marks (70% for reserved categories).
- Appearing Candidates: Final year / Result Awaited students are eligible to apply.
- Age Limit (JRF): Max 30 Years as on 01-12-2026 (Up to 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Women).
- Assistant Professor & PhD: Upper age limit ka koi restriction nahi hai.
💰 Fellowship & Award Categories
- Category 1: JRF & Assistant Professor Appointment.
- Category 2: Assistant Professor Appointment & Ph.D. Admission.
- Category 3: Admission to Ph.D. Only.
- JRF Stipend: ₹37,000/- per month (1st & 2nd Year) + ₹20,000 Annual Contingency.
- SRF Stipend: ₹42,000/- per month (3rd Year onwards on upgrade).
